Haslingfield Methodist Church

ACCESSIBILITY

We are committed to being an inclusive church - and we want to do our best to accomodate all access needs.  We welcome disabled and neurodivergent people, and people of all genders and sexualities.  Our building is wheelchair accessible and is on one level.  We have a disabled toilet.  We have chairs, not pews, and you are welcome to sit wherever makes you most comfortable.  You can come and go as you please during church services.

Our services usually last about an hour.  They include singing hymns and songs (you can sit down or stand up for these - whatever works for you) listening to bible readings, prayers, and a short sermon.  Once a month we have a communion service.  All services are relaxed and informal - you don't have to follow any set "rules"

After church we have tea, coffee and biscuits in the hall next to the church.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this, but it is entirely up to you.

We are aware that everyone's access needs are different.  If you have any specific needs we might not have thought of, please contact us so we can work together to make sure you are able to participate as much as you would like to, and are able to enjoy your time at church.

To discuss any access needs please contact Gill Goldfinch - mobile number: 07563 843265 or click here to email.
