Haslingfield Methodist Church






  • Morning Worship 10am. Mostly a traditional time of worship with hymns, readings and an address.  Afterwards there is a time to chat and make friends over coffee.  This lasts for about 1 hour.  Children and young people are very welcome at the morning service and at JAM.

  • JAM (Jesus and Me) Club 10.00am. A mix of worship, games and craft for children and young people.

  • Evening Worship 6.00pm. A variety of styles of worship, including an Evening Reflection led by different members lasting for about 30min and often followed by refreshments for those able to stay.  Sometimes they include Holy Communion (monthly) led by our Minister.  In addition during the winter months, we hold our monthly 'Faith To Live By' service where we invite a range of guest speakers to reflect on some of the challenges in their life of faith.  These events include a time of worship, an address, refreshments and an informal discussion.  They last for 1.5 - 2 hours and draw in people from surrounding churches.

  • There are other Sunday events throughout the year at different times, including special services at at Christmas time.  We join with the Parish Church for some Christmas services, a Harvest Festival service and in a village Remembrance service. 


  • Coffee House 10.30-11.30am. An informal time for friends to meet over tea, coffee and a chat.  New friends very welcome. 

  • Haslingfield Little Owls Preschool Group meets 9am - 12 noon from Monday - Friday (term time).  Plus a daily lunch club (except Thursdays)*


  • Pop-Up Coffee Morning 8.45-11.30am on the Second Tuesday of each month.  Each one will be for a different charity.
  • Cam Sight meets at 2-4pm usually on the first Tuesday of the month*

  • Haslingfield Choir meets weekly at 8-10pm for rehearsal*


  • Wednesday Fellowship 2.30pm. Meets on alternate Wednesdays and is for men and women of any age.  There is a short time of worship followed by a wide variety of guest speakers and topics.  This is followed by tea, coffee, cakes and fellowship.

  • Junior Christian Endeavour 6.15-7.15pm for 6-11 year olds.

  • The Roving House Group 7.30-9.00 meets fortnightly in members houses in Haslingfield and the surrounding villages.  The night of the week can vary.


  • Village Luncheon Club meets monthly, usually on the second Thursday of the month.*

  • Bridge Club meets weekly in the evening at 7.30pm.* 


  • Messy Church 3.30pm. Held monthly, usually on the third Friday of the month.  Children and adults - Everyone Welcome

  • Film Club 7.30pm.  Held monthly, usually on the second Friday of the month.  We show a wide range of films but for copyright reasons we cannot advertise the name of the film outside the church building.  If you wish to be put on the Film Club email circulation list to learn more please click here
